Conference language will be in Turkish and English. The accepted abstracts of the applications will be published in a booklet. The objective of the study which indicates the problem and the methodology used, should be specified and the findings should be summarized clearly in the abstract not exceeding 500 words.
Peer Review Process of the Abstracts
All abstracts submitted to the conference will undergo a double blind reviewing process, which is a critical element of scholarly publication in ensuring the appropriateness and quality of research. Assessment results will be noticed via e-mail.
Oral Presentations
Duration of oral presentation shall be planned not exceeding 15 minutes.
Poster Presentation
The conference welcome the applications of poster presentations. Please make sure that you have prepared the Poster Presentation in JPG format and send via icmde@deu.edu.tr registered with a number (example:P-001.jpg).
The Publications of the Conference
The selected papers will be published as an edited book to be published by CAMBRIDGE SCHOLARS. After the conference , the full papers of the selected presentations for the edited book of Cambridge Scholars and special issue of the Dokuz Eylul University Journal of Graduate School of Social Sciences, will be requested before the publication phase. The style guide will be explained later.
Dokuz Eylul University Journal of Graduate School of Social Sciences will publish a special edition MIGRATION for the conference outcomes.
Dokuz Eylul University Journal of Graduate School of Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed journal, started to be published in 1999 aiming to publish theoretical and/or empirical articles which makes original contribution to the area of “social sciences” such as Economics and Administrative Sciences, Law, Econometrics, Psychology, Sociology, History, Political Sciences, Gender Studies, and other related areas. The Journal is indexed by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM (Ulusal Akademik Ağ ve Bilgi Merkezi) Sosyal ve Beşeri Bilimler Veri Tabanı, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Ulrichs’s Web-Global Serials Directory, EBSCOhost-Online Research Databases, ASOS (Akademia Sosyal Bilimler İndeksi), Araştırmax Bilimsel Yayın İndeksi and Academic Journals Database.
Articles could be published in Turkish or English.
The journal is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without any permission or charge to the user or his/her institution.
The journal does not have article processing charges (APCs) or submission charges. Manuscripts must be full research papers and must be prepared according to the standards of the journal.
